Speaker Bio:
Lindsay Gladding (she/they) is a Registered Social Worker and Certified Play  Therapist. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts degree in Human Security & Peacebuilding from Royal Roads University. Lindsay spent almost 20 years working as a child-focused humanitarian aid worker, travelling across the globe in response to conflict and natural disasters. This work gave them the awesome privilege of witnessing the power of play in helping children to communicate, to process both their emotions and experiences, and ultimately to heal. It also inspired a passion for child rights including children’s rights to play and learn, to health and dignity and to a healthy environment
